  37. The CDs for this game are hybrid CDs.  They will work for either 
  38. Macintosh or Windows 95 computers.

  41. QuickTime (tm) 3
  42. QuickTime 3 is Apple's multimedia technology for playing sound and 
  43. video on your computer.  It is required for Morpheus to run.  If you
  44. do not have QuickTime 3 installed, you can download it from Apple's 
  45. web site at www.apple.com/quicktime.

  47. Note: Morpheus will not run with previous versions of QuickTime.  The 
  48. QuickTime 3 installer will not affect programs which rely on older 
  49. versions of QuickTime.  You do not need to remove versions of 
  50. QuickTime earlier than version 3.

  53. Game Controls
  54. The primary way you control the game is with your mouse.  As you move 
  55. the mouse over the screen, the cursor will change shape.  The shape of 
  56. the cursor indicates the type of action you can take on that part of 
  57. the screen.  Each cursor represents a different action.  The different 
  58. cursors and what they do are listed below:
  59.  
  60. ╖ Ship Wheel Cursor
  61.    The Ship Wheel Cursor means that the current scene is a
  62.    panorama.  On a panorama you can turn left and right, up
  63.    and down, by dragging around with the mouse.  The speed
  64.    at which you turn is dependent on how you drag with the
  65.    mouse.

  67. ╖ Open Hand Cursor
  68.    As you play Morpheus, you will come across numerous levers,
  69.    knobs, dials, etc.  These are items you can move and
  70.    manipulate.  When the cursor is over one of these objects,
  71.    it will change to an open hand.  When you click the mouse
  72.    on it, the cursor changes to a closed hand.  Dragging with
  73.    the mouse down will move the corresponding lever, knob, or
  74.    dial.

  77. Most of the remaining cursors indicate something that you can do by 
  78. single clicking.  Even though the cursor is over one of these hotspots,
  79. you can still move around a panorama by dragging with the mouse.

  81. ╖ Pointing Finger
  82.    A hand with a pointing finger represents a button or similar
  83.    object that you can interact with.

  85. ╖ Arrow Cursor
  86.    When the cursor is over a hotspot that will move you to a
  87.    new location, the cursor changes into an arrow.  Click
  88.    with the mouse to actually move to that destination.

  90. ╖ Magnifying Glass
  91.    If there is something that you can look at closer, the
  92.    cursor will change into a magnifying class.  Click to
  93.    examine the item.

  95. ╖ Microphone
  96.    When there is some narrative associated with a spot,
  97.    the cursor changes to a microphone.  Click on it to
  98.    hear the story.

  100. ╖ Down Arrow
  101.    If you can look down at something, the cursor is a
  102.    downward pointing arrow.

  104. ╖ Circular Arrow
  105.    A circular arrow is a "Go Back" cursor.  This will return
  106.    you to the location you just came from.

  108. ╖ Special Objects
  109.    There are a few objects that you can pick up during the
  110.    course of the game.  While you are carrying one of these,
  111.    you will get a cursor depicting that object instead of
  112.    the ship wheel cursor.  This is to let you know that you
  113.    are carrying that object.
